Next weekend Pelenchin will move up to 126 lbs. to fight an upcoming star in Daud Yordan. Should he prevail, a lot of new prospects will open up for him. All he needs to do is seize his moment.
A win will put Pelenchin on the map in the star-studded featherweight division. Great fights with John, Gamboa, and Juanma all could await him if he delivers the spectacular performance he is confident he will give. No longer will he or his critics be able to say he has never fought anybody. All will be laid out directly in front of him. And as he enters the final stage of his career, Pelenchin will have the opportunity to secure his legacy as one of the greatest of all Panamanian champions.
