At first I wanted to make this a blog with news and opinions about Pelenchin. Then I realized that there are many other resources for that kind of information. Instead, I think it would be better to make this a blog for and by fans of Pelenchin. This will be a place where I and others can feel free to give their opinions or share stories of their interaction with Pelenchin. I encourage all of his fans to email me with any stories or pictures you might have. Also, you can be sure that Celestino will read all of your stories about him. I will even get him to stop by from time to time and express his thoughts as well. He is truly appreciative of all his fans and I am sure he would like to have some interaction with you.
Here in the United States, Celestino is a fairly unknown commodity. Thats a shame because as I have begun to know the man, I realize that he has one of the biggest personalities of anyone I have ever met. So rather than just report on him, I would rather share stories about times I have spent with him. It is time that the rest of the world starts to know what those in Panama have known for quite awhile! Pelenchin is not only a great boxer, but he is a great person as well!
